Program Facilitator

The Program Facilitator is expected to contribute to a working environment that is friendly, respectful, open and honest. Program Facilitators are responsible for creating and delivering weekly culturally-relevant lesson plans for program participants. Program Facilitators work together to share ideas and to develop joint projects and activities under the direction of the Director of Programs. By facilitating dynamic group sessions, cultivating inclusive environments, and driving outreach initiatives, the Officer ensures measurable impact while shaping the future of youth development and family engagement in Metro-Atlanta.

Program Officer

The Program Officer, Outreach Initiatives is a strategic leader and community innovator who oversees three signature programs—Mom Circles, Mental Health Power Hour, and Girls Link Up. This role is pivotal in advancing 3D Girls, Inc.’s mission to empower caregivers and youth through culturally responsive engagement, mental wellness, and academic enrichment. By facilitating dynamic group sessions, cultivating inclusive environments, and driving outreach initiatives, the Officer ensures measurable impact while shaping the future of youth development and family engagement in Metro Atlanta.

  • Oversee Mom Circles, Mental Health Power Hour, and work with Girls Link Up facilitators to deploy ensuring culturally responsive engagement and impactful STEAM exploration for girls in grades 3–8.
  • Serve as a trusted connector and advocate by building strong, lasting relationships with youth, families, and community partners.
  • Coordinate enrichment activities, wellness programming, and outreach initiatives that foster resilience, inclusion, and measurable outcomes.
  • Collect and analyze program data, prepare reports, and share success stories with stakeholders to highlight organizational impact.
  • Create social media content and engagement strategies that amplify participant voices for mental health promotion.
  • Stay current on best practices in youth development and mental health, contributing to program design and continuous improvement amongst the team.

Director of Programs

Program Leadership and Delegation:

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the Girls Link Up program, support implementation and execution of The Mom Circle Program, & Emergency Assistance programming.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the program team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Managing Program Facilitators & Interns through site evaluations, group or 1:1 coaching
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skill base as a Youth Development professional that has content expertise in social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of youth.
  • Utilizes Asana software to manage event tasks and checklists, overseeing projects from planning through on-site execution and completion.
  • Collecting, tracking, analyzing and organizing data that is relevant to the program.
  • Creating and implementing systems for program management

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the program budgets, ensuring efficient and responsible use of resources to achieve program goals.
  • Track expenditures, analyze budget variances, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Director on financial planning and forecasting.

Programmatic Events:

  • Plan, develop, and execute impactful programmatic events that complement and enrich program experiences.
  • Secure partnerships and resources for event execution.
  • Measure the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
  • Flagship events for this role include: Girls Link Up Summer Camp, Girls Link Up on the Weekend, Girls Link Up after-school programming, field trips and job shadowing experiences.

Curriculum Development:

  • Have a strong background in STEAM Education
  • Champion the continuous development and improvement of the Girls Link Up curriculum.
  • Collaborate with team members and external partners to ensure curriculum alignment with best practices and program goals.
  • Oversee curriculum implementation and identify opportunities for innovation with Program Officers.

Reporting & Evaluation:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program evaluation plan to assess the impact of programs on participants.
  • Collect and analyze data on program participation, outcomes, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare reports for funders, stakeholders, and the Board of Directors on program progress and effectiveness.
